June 2 was our first anniversary! We can't believe how fast the year has gone. It feels like we should still be planning our wedding!
We had reservations to go out to dinner at Shadow Lake, where we had our reception. When I got home from work that day, there was a message on our machine that they cancelled our reservation due to an event! What a bummer! We went to Outback steakhouse instead, came home and went for a nice walk around the neighborhood. As it turns out, we had a grand ole time.
On a side note, the baker who made our wedding cake told us not to save the top of our cake in the freezer because he makes another for your 1st anniversary. So, here it is! Delicious! Except this time we didn't smoosh it in each other's faces, just our own!
