-first time making xmas cookies-we made some with Patti and gang and some with Daddy. Noah took a few minutes to warm up to the experience, but soon was covered in flour.
-first time playing in the snow-it took longer for me to bundle him up in all his winter gear than the time we were actually outside playing. He could barely move with the big, bulky snow clothes on, but he seemed to have fun. We went outside almost every day we had snow and each day he became more interested in it. Soon, he was digging in it and trying to eat it. Daryl, Noah, Max, Ruby and I snowshoed around our pond one afternoon. We all had alot of fun!
-first time coloring
-first Christmas and New Years-On Christmas Eve we went to Daryl's parents and then came home and made pizza. Noah enjoyed his first taste of pizza! Christmas morning was great. Noah loved unwrapping the presents. He was more interested in the paper than the gifts. His favorite toys of the morning were Matchbox cars. We thought he wouldn't be interested in them, but he carried them around with him all morning. In the afternoon, we went to Patti and Steve's for dinner.
-first haircut-Noah is not a fan of haircuts! He screamed the whole time, but looked so handsome. We kind of missed the shaggy hair. He looked too much like a big boy with his hair cut. To celebrate the big day, he had his first kids meal at Red Robin. He didn't eat more than a couple bites because he was so interested in watching everyone around him.
Noah is not yet walking consistently yet. He takes several steps and is cruising all over the place. He can climb up stairs, tries to use a spoon, waves bye-bye, points, brushes his hair, uses the TV remote well, loves hide and seek and the vacuum.
