Weeks 24, 25 and 26

These last few weeks have been filled with many new things...
Noah eventually started to like sweet potatoes.  We then moved on to carrots, which he was NOT a fan of.  Then came avocado and squash which he tolerated fairly well.  He eats 1-2 tablespoons 1 time a day, usually late morning.  We still get some funny faces, an occasional episode of spitting out the food at us, and lots of messes!  He eats well for daddy who has perfected the old airplane spoon trick.  It's been fun making his food-we joined a CSA this year, so I've been freezing alot of food for him.

Noah has also started napping longer than 30 minutes in his crib!  He usually takes 1 or 2 longer naps now, and 1 or 2 shorter ones.  Sometimes, he rolls onto his belly to sleep.  It used to wake him up because he wanted to be on his back, but wouldn't roll himself back over (even though he's been rolling that way for a while).  But now he has it all figured out.

Last week, Daryl had off so we did alot of outside things-hike at Mendon Ponds Park, played in the pool, walks outside....it was a beautiful week and we had a great time together!  For the 4th of July, we watched a parade!  Noah enjoyed holding a mini flag more than the parade itself.

He is also sitting all by himself!  In just a few days, he went from sitting for a couple of seconds to sitting for several minutes.  He is reaching for everything while sitting!  We have to be careful what's around him!  He reaches with both hands, transfers toys between his hands, bangs toys and of course, everything is still going in his mouth.  He loves to feel cold drinks too.  No teeth yet, but I'm sure they'll be here soon.

Here's our happy guy!!
