After we got married, we spent 3 days at Belhurst Castle in Geneva, NY. The first night we stayed in the newer addition. It was similar to a nice hotel with a fireplace and jacuzzi. The last 2 nights we stayed in the Tower Suite in the castle. It was the biggest room in the castle with 2 floors, a porch and multiple rooms. It was very unique and a little spooky! Belhurst has a winery, casual restuarant with great desserts (we got one every night we were there!) and a fancy restaurant where they called us "Sir" and "Madam." We really enjoyed our time at Belhurst and hope to go again. If you are ever there, look us up in the guest book. We were there June 3, 2007.

These were the narrow, creaky spiral stairs that led to the castle peak in our room. From the tower you had an amazing view of the lake.
