21 Months-October 9, 2013

Fall is here and the weather has been great!  We've had nice days and cool nights.  Some rain, but lots of sun too which is good for our solar panels!  We've taken full advantage of fall-apple picking, growing pumpkins, eating fry cakes and cider, raking leaves (he loves to do yard with Daddy), going to fall festivals and a farm fest in Avon.  The farm fest turned out to be alot more fun than we had thought.  There were tons of activities for the little kids (driving trucks through grain and corn), a  little corn maze, petting zoo, hayride and tons of BIG farm trucks which Noah LOVED!  Daryl's mom also won a raffle here and got Noah a motorized Jeep!  His feet can't reach the pedals yet, but when they do-watch out!  The thing goes fast!

Noah was able to meet more family for the first time this month.  John and Jeanne came up from Florida.  We were able to see them a few times and had a wonderful visit!  It took a while for Noah to warm up to them, but as soon as Uncle John made his firetruck sound, Noah was hooked :)  He also got to meet Uncle Joe and visit with Aunt Rosalie!  What a great month!

Things he is doing or into this month:
-Trucks- Our neighbors got a new driveway last week and we spend the majority of the day sitting in the driveway watching the big trucks.
-Bugs and critters-he spots them, picks them up and wants take them inside!  He also really likes a pop up bug book.  With each turn of the page he says "whoa!"
-finding dandelions in the grass
-finding the moon or airplanes in the sky
-riding his bike (his feet don't reach yet so we still have to push him around)
-eating popcorn and watching a cartoon (usually Curious George)
-Curious George, Elmo, Daniel Tiger
-coloring, gluing, cutting, painting
-jumping forward slightly
-building towers
-shaking his bum while dancing (which means he puts his hands on his bum and sticks it out)
-forts
-draws lines
