The Gauck's: 16 months

Noah is at a great age. He is really starting to understand when we say things and is developing new concepts and preferences. We can no longer give him anything for a snack-he knows what he wants and lets us know by trying to saying it, pointing or crying until you figure it out! He can follow simple directions-like give ____ to mommy or go put this is the garbage. He loves being around other kids and he thinks older kids are super funny. We've been having great weather and getting outside everyday. He LOVES it! Noah often finds his shoes, brings them to me and sits down. That's my cue that he wants to play outside. His favorite things to do are play in the dirt/mud/water puddles, ride his 4 wheeler, play in the sandbox and sit on daddy's tractor. He also loves going for stroller rides. He will go into the garage, climb in his stroller and try to buckle himself in. Noah was sick for a week with the stomach bug recently. Then he popped his #8 front tooth and 2 top molars. So, he hasn't been feeling the greatest lately. Thankfully, he is starting to get back to being himself. He can say or partially say: drink (di), done (do), stuck (duc) , drop (do), down (dow), mama, dada, Ella (lala), cheese and raison (chs and sss). He is picking up more signs too: more, finished, daddy, apple, no, drink and come (to call the dogs). He says "shh" when someone is sleeping or when he is ready for his nap/bedtime. He sometimes will make a dog noise or a cock-a-doodle-doo (which is just alot of funny tongue movements-it's very cute!) when you ask him. He can find belly buttons and sometime eyes, nose and mouth if he feels like it. He gets frustrated when you can't understand what he wants or when he doesn't get what he wants. He will usually cry and carry on for a few minutes and then snap right out of it.
